  • Getters in RetryPolicies and SkipPolicies

    Hello,

    I'm trying to make my own errors manager. This manager allows me to provide a unique interface for managing the configuration of the batch. Unfortunately, default RetryPolicies and SkipPolicies have no getter, so I cannot know their current values.

    For example:
    org.springframework.batch.retry.backoff.FixedBackO ffPolicy.getBackOffPeriod()
    org.springframework.batch.retry.policy.SimpleRetry Policy.getMaxAttempts()
    org.springframework.batch.retry.policy.TimeoutRetr yPolicy.getTimeout()

    It could be intersting for batch processes to know their current configurations Isn't it ?

    Usually dependency injection properties do not have public getters, but I can see that there might be some beans for which you would like to monitor this kind of parameter remotely. I think the examples you choose were even designed for safe remote modification. Can you raise a JIRA for a new feature request, please?
