  • JobLauncher versus jobOperator

    What difference does it make if i start a job using jobLauncher and JobOperator

    Code:
    jobLauncher.run(jobOne, new JobParameters(mapWithDate));
    versus

    Code:
    jobInstance = jobOperator.start(jobName, dateToString);
    what I noticed is there are no parameters set in the repository for a job started with joboperator .I want to distinguish between different instances of a job based on parameters but when i do

    jobExplorer.getJobInstance(id).getJobParameters() it gives me null
