  • Job wont start, magically killed?

    Hi,

I try to launch a tasklet and the job seems to start, but the only output is a message that states that the job starts.
    Code:
    21.jan.2009 17:34:44 org.springframework.context.support.AbstractApplicationContext prepareRefresh
INFO: Refreshing org.springframework.context.support.ClassPathXmlApplicationContext@53c015: display name [org.springframework.context.support.ClassPathXmlApplicationContext@53c015]; startup date [Wed Jan 21 17:34:44 CET 2009]; root of context hierarchy

    21.jan.2009 17:34:45 org.springframework.context.support.AbstractApplicationContext obtainFreshBeanFactory

INFO: Closing org.springframework.context.support.ClassPathXmlApplicationContext@53c015: display name [org.springframework.context.support.ClassPathXmlApplicationContext@53c015]; startup date [Wed Jan 21 17:34:44 CET 2009]; root of context hierarchy

    21.jan.2009 17:34:45 org.springframework.batch.core.launch.support.SimpleJobLauncher$1 run
INFO: Job: [SimpleJob: [name=y2Job]] launched with the following parameters: [{}]
and then nothing more happens. The java process ends, and there is no more input.

Is my job killed by some magic reason? Any Experience with this? using spring-batch 2.0.0 M3

What does your meta data say? Is the BATCH_JOB_EXECUTION table showing it as started?

      fixed -

I was debugging this all night and finally gave up before I rewrote the job definition over again.

      Now it works just perfect
