  • Dependencies change in 1.1.1.RELEASE

We are migrating our framework from SB 1.0.1 to 1.1.1. When we check the deps changes, we found that most of them unchanged but spring-aop. The 'spring-aop' deps changed from 'test' scope to default. Is that any new features using spring-aop in 1.1.1? or any derived transitive deps implied with such change?

I believe that was related to how we wire up transactions in the JobRepositoryFactoryBean. In 1.0.x it required the users to manually created aop points cuts (or cut and paste them). However, this effectively means that spring-aop is a requirement, since the transaction settings are a requirement. In 1.1, some code from spring-aop is used to create the same effect, which is what likely brought on the change in dependency. Although, it should be noted that using the map dao's would remove this need.
