  • About Model Data

Hello, Im been testing several examples about MySQL 5.0. Server and I have found this situation:

When I run the script of model data appear errors about mysql not accept a default value = NULL for the TIMESTAMP fields. I changed the type TIMESTAMP for the type DATETIME and, in principle, works ok all.

    Wait your opinions

    Thank you

What version of the schema are you using? There was a change quite a while ago to fix http://jira.springframework.org/browse/BATCH-528, so if you use the latest version it should work as you describe.

I think you should double check that. This is what I get in the 1.0.1.RELEASE jar:

        Code:
        ...
        CREATE TABLE BATCH_JOB_EXECUTION (
        	JOB_EXECUTION_ID BIGINT PRIMARY KEY ,
        	VERSION BIGINT,
        	JOB_INSTANCE_ID BIGINT NOT NULL,
        	START_TIME DATETIME DEFAULT NULL,
        	END_TIME DATETIME DEFAULT NULL,
        	STATUS VARCHAR(10),
        	CONTINUABLE CHAR(1),
        	EXIT_CODE VARCHAR(20),
        	EXIT_MESSAGE VARCHAR(2500),
        	constraint JOB_INSTANCE_EXECUTION_FK foreign key (JOB_INSTANCE_ID)
        	references BATCH_JOB_INSTANCE(JOB_INSTANCE_ID)
        ) type=InnoDB;
        ...
