Reader reads data from the table A.
For each record read, the processor will generate 3 records and write these 3 records in the table A.

    Questions:
    1) Shall i use ItemTranformer or CompositeItemWriter as a processor? What will be the best way to implement this logic?
    2) Can reader and writer both use the same table, table A?

    1) I think this is just a matter of preference really. I would probably create some kind of domain object that represents the three objects, and use an ItemTransformer personally, but I wouldn't say there's really a 'right' way to do it.

    2) I don't see why they couldn't, other than some potential table locking, which depends upon your database platform and the type of reader you use.
