  • problems with repositories

    I tried to give a springBatch a spin but have problems with repositories...

    Creating the plain-vanilla project with maven:

    mvn archetype:create -DgroupId=com.mycompany.app -DartifactId=my-app

    modifying the pom and adding repository and dependency as from springBatch site maven cannot download artifacts. My pom file is:

    <project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/maven-v4_0_0.xsd">
    <modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion>
    <groupId>com.mycompany.app</groupId>
    <artifactId>my-app</artifactId>
    <packaging>jar</packaging>
    <version>1.0-SNAPSHOT</version>
    <name>my-app</name>
    <url>http://maven.apache.org</url>
    <dependencies>
    <dependency>
    <groupId>org.springframework.batch</groupId>
    <artifactId>spring-batch-core</artifactId>
    <version>1.0.0.m4-SNAPSHOT</version>
    </dependency>
    <dependency>
    <groupId>junit</groupId>
    <artifactId>junit</artifactId>
    <version>3.8.1</version>
    <scope>test</scope>
    </dependency>
    </dependencies>
    <repositories>
    <repository>
    <id>spring-s3</id>
    <name>Springframework Maven SNAPSHOT Repository</name>
    <url>http://s3.amazonaws.com/maven.springframework.org/snapshot</url>
    </repository>
    </repositories>
    </project>

    What's the error? Is it pulling down core successfully? If so, are the transitive dependencies being pulled down as well? Is it possible that you're having a maven problem? (you could try mvn -cpu -U)

      Thanks Lucas, but I think that my problems were due connectivity, few hours later everithing went fine...
