  • Embedding Spring Batch in a web application

    Hi,
Im trying to get my Batch project in a web application to trigger job executions using quartz scheduler and http requests (for manual executions). Im using Spring MVC + Spring batch.

I want to do this using an asynchronous job launcher given that the Spring Batch is embedded in a web container, but I need to pass the Job Id to the client, because later I want the client to be able to "ask" for the Job status.

    How can I do this?

    Thanks

JobLauncher.run(..) returns a JobExecution, JobExecution has getJobId() method which returns the ID of the executed job.
