  • AOP based transparant persistence management, anyone?

Ok, maybe i'm just a sucker when it comes to searching, but i did try and nothing came up (honestly!), so i take it that no posts on this subject exists...

Back to the subject then! I'm looking for a transparant persistence framework based on AOP (i guess). I want to be able to detach my domain model from any persistence strategy what so ever, i.e. no calls to a Persistence Manager, a DAO or similar - so sort of monitoring service that stores objects whenever they are considered "dirty".

Rob Harrop introduces a simple version of this "framework" in Pro Spring (AOP part), but apparently that's all? Hasn't anyone dived into this yet? Am i destined to do it all by myself from scratch? Rob?
