  • AOP with EJB beans

    Hi there!

I'd like to implement the logging feature in my JSF application via Spring AOP. From what I've read I understand that Spring AOP can only be run on beans that are managed by Spring.

The question is how can I make my EJB3 beans managed by Spring?

Let's say I've got EmployeeLocal interface that is implemented in EmployeeBean with the @Stateless(name="employee") annotation. In that class there are several other beans injected via @EJB.

Is there a way how can I make those beans manageable by Spring without breaking the whole app?

    Thank you for any advice.
