  • Migration to Spring 3, CGLIB or Javassist ?

    Hi,

I'm migrating my application to spring 3 and I saw the dependency to CGLIB.

As I'm already using hibernate 3.3.2 which depends on javassist, I was thinking about removing CGLIB and use javassist as only dependency...

Is Spring could use it to generate proxies as well as CGLIB ?

    Thanks

No.. Spring requires cglib or if you follow interface based programming then you don't need cglib, but if spring needs class proxies it requires cglib.
