  • Problem with Declaratvie transaction

    Hi,

    i'm using spring with hibernate support for declarative transactions...

    now i have 2 service classes which are involved in declarative transactions.

    Service1. createData()--having ROPAGATION_REQUIRES_NEW
    Service2. updareData()--having ROPAGATION_REQUIRES_NEW

    Now i have to call updateData() in createData() method

    so iam calling in the following way

    createData()
    {
    Service2 serv2 = getBeanFactory.getBean("service2")
    ser2.updateData();
    }

    the problem is Updatedata() is not getting invoked..

    can you please help me as it is urgent..

    thank you very much...

    How did you defined the transactional behavior and how do you know that method is not getting called ?

      I have defined in application context.xml by using TransactionProxyFactoryBean..

      first method is executing and second method is executing but its not returning the control back and it is complaining that transaction is timeout.

      i think it is locking the database...and even first method transaction also complaining transaction timed out..

      please help me
