  • Is it possible to use aspects for Transaction Tracing ?

    Hi,

Another Spring newbie here I'm developing a project with Spring nowadays. I use Spring for business and dao layers. For presentation layer, i use BEA Portal, JPF and beehive.

I prefer using JPA as persistency, and implementation is Toplink essentials RI.
Configuration of transaction boundaries is done by annotations with "@Transactional".

I also defined two aspects for logging purpose. But i wonder that is it possible to keep track of transactions. I mean, i want to produce such data:

Transaction X1 started, class {AAA}, method {YYYY}, timestamp.
    Transaction X1 committed.
Transaction X2 started, class {BBB}, method {ZZZZ}, timestamp.
    Transaction X2 rollbacked.

Note: I searched forum to not to create a duplicate entry, but i could not find any solution to my problem.

    Thanks,
Working...
