  • Spring Modules 0.3 released

    Dear Spring Community,

I am pleased to announce that Spring Modules (SM) 0.3 has been released. Downloads | Docs (Html , PDF) | JavaDocs

This new release contains many new features and bugfixes:

    - new Flux Spring module
    - new jBPM 3.0.x module
    - new jBPM 3.1.x module
    - new JSR-170 (Java Content Repository) module with Jackrabbit and Jeceira support
    - new Lucene Module
    - Commons-Configuration integration
    - improved OSWorkflow support
    - many improvements and updates to the Cache module

See our changelog for more information.

The full roadmap can be found at:
    http://opensource.atlassian.com/proj...:roadmap-panel

The next release (0.4) is scheduled for July and will align most of the modules to Spring 2.0. Notable features scheduled for 0.4 include custom namespaces for the cache and jcr module, Tangosol Coherence support, more documentation and samples.

We are still looking to recruit more developers to work on more modules, and any feedback on new or existing features will be much appreciated.

    Regards

Commons Validator not fixed in this release

I was hoping to see Commons Validator fixed in this release.

    http://opensource.atlassian.com/proj.../browse/MOD-71

Any chance of applying this patch sooner than later?

    Thanks,

    Matt

I'll try to fit it into the next release. Each module has its own maintainer and the easiest and fastest way to get patches applied is to talk with him/her. The next release will be more polished and we'll take care of a lot of loose ends.
      Thanks for the feedback.
