  • Applications using Spring Android

    Hey guys;

    I am using Spring Android for a while. I got used to it.
    When I started to use the library, there were no open source project using this project. I did a similar search a few days ago in the github and project.google.com, again I didn't find any. As far as I read from the forum, Motoactv is using the library including also roboguice, ormlite, etc..

    Do you know any well known/nice app using this library? Licensing type doesn't matter of course..

    Hi Alaattin, I saw your question on twitter too. I don't have a list. I was going to reply with the Motoactv app, but you already found that. Also, to note, another library called Android Annotations [0] leverages Spring for Android's RestTemplate functionality to perform REST requests. I wrote a blog post about this library last year. I've spoken with many people about their interest in Spring for Android, but I don't have any more concrete examples for you. Your question brings up the need for a very valuable exercise. I think it would be useful to showcase applications on the project page and/or github that utilize Spring for Android.

      Thank you for your reply, Roy. If I figure out some other projects, I will post it to this thread.

        We are using Spring Android in the Mythtv Services API for the MythTV Client we are building for Android:

        Here is a link to the app in the Google Play Market:

          @dmfrey Thanks for the links! Yes, we had discussed your project previously, and I failed to mention it too. It's great to have code available in GitHub for others to review.
