  • Need to have Authentication using Spring surf

    Hi..
I am new to SS.. I am developing a website using spring surf....

In this website, I need to have a registration page, so that users can register their details and then they can login to the website to view the contents.

Whats the procedure to have the site with authentication (registration and login form) like this. Any web scripts or do I need to proceed with any other way...
Can anyone suggest me or post any URL regarding this.

    Thanks in advance...

    Same here

    Hi Kamal,

I have the same question. I know that when surf were still with Alfersco, the authentication happend against alfresco. But now I am unsure how it is handled and against what it is checked.

So I am adding to your question list

1.) Is Authentication with roles available in surf at the momement? If yes, please point us to a tutorial or reading material.

2.) Is the webscript able to use any other authentication model, like say Facebook (Auth2.0) ?

3.) Is role permisions available ?

I don't know Spring Surf but as you requested my help, I gonna try...

Can't you find some information about Spring Security inside documentation ?

Can you customize your Spring bean xml configuration file ?
