  • page authentication levels

    Hi all,
    I developed a simple spring-surf application. I have a question about page authentication levels. In the page xml files I specified:
    Code:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <page>
       <id>welcome</id>
       <title>Welcome Page</title>
       <template-instance>welcome</template-instance>
       <authentication>user</authentication>
    </page>
    It works corretly but can I specify additional valid authentication levels? Something like Alfresco Webscripts:
    - none specifies that no authentication is required at all
    - guest specifies that at least guest authentication is required
    - user specifies that at least named user authentication is required
    - admin specifies that at least a named admin authentication is required

    Thanks in advance

    Surf applications are just web applications, so you can use Spring Security (i.e. Acegi) to secure your application.

      Yes you can specify "guest" and "admin". But you will need an appropriately configured UserFactory and User object classes that provide that information. An example of doing this can be found in the Alfresco Share project source code.

      Cheers,
