  • Building / running web studio

Hello. I'm new to Spring Surf and was trying to build and deploy the Web Studio application from the SVN repositories. I got it to build but now I can't seem to be able to access it anyway. What is the correct URL I should be navigating to once I deploy the WAR file into Tomcat?

    Thanks,

In past releases of Web Studio:

    http://localhost:8080/studio

would be the Url to use. Does this work with your version?

      Darryl,

Thanks for the response. That's what I thought, but that is not working for me.

I suspect I might have some files missing - if I grab the entire se-surf package and run "mvn install" - should this be all I need? The first time I built and deployed I got exceptions about missing beans ("No bean named 'webframework.webscripts.store.custom' is defined). To get around that I commented out these definitions in the spring-surf-studio-application-context.xml file, but I suspect that is why I'm getting nothing back from that URL.

Any thoughts on why those beans might not be defined?

      Thanks again,
      -Scott
