    Hello,

I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but I spent some time over the weekend making a few very small modifications to some of the spring-webmvc.jar framework code. Basically I just created a class similar to the SimpleFormController that allows multiple 'command' objects on the same page and made some minor modifications to support it. Allowing people to edit multiple domain objects simultaneously is something we frequently have to do where I work and I couldn't find anything in the framework that supported this directly. Just wondering if this was the best path to take here. Is this feature present somewhere else that I'm not aware of? Am I reinventing the wheel? I'm pretty satisfied with my implementation but my main concern is the possibility of regressions if we ever upgrade the rest of the framework. Whats the best way to avoid this? Is it possible to merge this into the framework? Thanks in advance!

Check out formBackingObject(). It can be found on page 25 of the PDF or page 513 if you have the book.

Thanks for your oppinion(s). I read the changelog and will install the 3.8.1. to get rid of the dependecy to the MVC library. I created a sample MVC application using VS2010 and compiled it under .NET 4.0. The application will not compile with previous versions of .NET. That is why I created an account here on AspSpider after specifically searching for .NET 4.x support.
