  • Massive Thank You (Links inside)

    Dear SAS Team,

I just wanted to drop some praise for an awesome project!
And since it's always nice to hear what is done with one's work (I guess ), here are some of our recent SAS-based projects (Pure AS3):

    Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Facebook Experiments <-- 0.81
    http://apps.facebook.com/behind-the-speed/

Bitburger "Ab nach Südafrika" (Way to South Africa) <-- 0.81
    http://apps.facebook.com/ab-nach-suedafrika/

Nike+ "Club der Töchter" (Club of Daughters) <-- 1.0rc1 w/ mvcs
    http://apps.facebook.com/toechter-laeufe/
FYI, the 100% same code compiles into an Android app, too (running prototype - there's quite a bit of graceful degradation to implement).

Our customization of SAS boils down to some new Postprocessors, a slightly modified EventBus, and stripping out mx-Dependencies – the rest is AppContext+ControllerObjectFactory magic.

Again, just thank you for this leap forward in best practice software engineering for the Flash Platform.

    thanks!

    Hey there,

I'm very sorry for the very late reply, I've been mad busy lately and didn't check the forums properly (on a sidenote, the forum notifications apparently don't work anymore...).

Thank you very much for your kind words, its truly wonderful to see people using the library succesfully!

I'd be interested in the details of your modifications, perhaps you can PM me with some of them?

    cheers,

    Roland
