  • mx.messaging.Consumer could not be found.

    Hi,
I am trying to integrate Prana into my flex client. When i load the application context i am getting a class not found: 'mx.messaging.Consumer'. But the class seems to be on the classpath according to flex builder. (i can import it w/o compile errors). Is there a workaround?

    I am using Prana v.0.7.

    PHP Code:
Errorclass with the name 'mx.messaging.Consumer' could not be found.

seems like you didn't compile the class mx.messaging.Consumer into the swf.
simply import doesn't compile this class into your swf.

you need either to inlucde a compilter parameter like:
    -include-libraries {FlexBuilder_Home}\sdks\3.2.0\frameworks\libs\rpc. swc

or use this class mx.messaging.Consumer somewhere in your code. i.e. declare a varaible or something.

There is another post about how to force the compiler to inlcude a certain class
