  • Multiple selection list properties in forms

    In my version of spring-rich (granted, it is a couple months old now), there does not appear to be any way to automatically get a multiple selection list bound on a property. There is a "createBoundList(...)" method that will create a single selection list, but not one for multiple selection. Is it true that there is no "createBoundList(...)" method for multiple selection? Say I have an object like so:
    Code:
    public class A
    {
      public List getSelectedItems();
    }
    I'd like to call a method like so:
    Code:
      List selectableItems = getSelectableItems();
      model.createBoundList("selectedItems", selectableItems, "namePropertyOnSelectableItem");
    And have spring-rich automatically populate the "selectedItems" list based on the multiple selections made by the user.

    I created a proof of concept implementation of this functionality and submitted a patch for SwingFormModel to JIRA. See http://opensource.atlassian.com/proj...browse/RCP-105
