  • Problem while executing batch file using Spring Shell

    Hi All,

    We are trying to run a batch file using spring shell by using command line options --cmdfile <batchfile name>.

    Batch file has the below code
    @echo off
    rem call setclient.bat
    rem sets the CLASSPATH
    call "G:\test\bin\setclientcp.bat"
    exit /B %ERRORLEVEL%

    While executing this we are getting the below error:

    F:\26-03-2014\BatFile\build\install\BatFile\bin> BatFile --cmdfile G:\test\bin\test.bat

    log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.springframework.core.env.StandardEnvironment) .
    log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
    log4j:WARN See http://logging.apache.org/log4j/1.2/faq.html#noconfig for more info.

    WARNING: Command '@echo off' not found (for assistance press TAB)

    Any suggestions related to how to execute a batch file in spring shell with scripting command (like echo, Rem, Call etc) will be appreciated. Thank You!

    <batchfile name> means "Spring Shell" Batch files, thats what Spring Shell is for. You can write your own commands and batch them. Its not for executing batch files or bash files.
