  • RmiServiceExporter and concurrent requests

    Hi,

    I have exported an interface using RmiServiceExporter, it worked pretty easily.

    However, I've noticed all concurrent requests to this service are executed in single thread on server side. Basically all concurrent access is singlethreaded on the server. I had thought (previously) RMI out-of-the-box executes every method call on different a thread. My setup is as follows;

    Client and server are on different JVMs. I exported one service with RmiServiceExporter, and on the client side RmiProxyFactoryBean is used.

    The server JVM is a standalone server (it's not an app server).

    Is there any settings for RmiServiceExporter to tell it to make a service accessed concurrently? Perhaps I am using the wrong RMI implementation? JVM used is Solaris Hotspot JVM 1.4.

    Thanks,

    Wrong

    My mistake, RMI over Spring *is* multithreaded. My tester was wrong, sorry to waste bandwidth.

    Cheers,
