  • Spring - JMS without using JNDIs

    Hi,

Is it possible in spring to do JMS programming without actually creating the connection factory & destination jndis in the appserver (like directly using the host, queuemanager, queue etc..) Similar to stand alone java client. I would appreciate if anyone share any related sample code.

    Thanks in Advance

    Hello,

this is definitely possible. You have to define the connectionfactory and the queues in your applicationcontext as "normal" beans.

But i would recommedn to use the connectionfactory and the queue definition from the jndi context, because they provide connection/session pooling out-of-the-box.
