  • Documenting Open Source Projects

Sorry, I know this isn't specific to Spring but I think the Spring team and community should know as much as anyone about this topic.

I notice a similarity across many high profile open source projects in the format of documentation provided. Is there a standard format (Ie. docbook) that everyone's using. And if so, what editor are people using. While i'm perfectly capable of writing in the docbook xml format, it's not great when trying to get a perspective on the flow of a large document to be looking at raw xml. Ultimately a wysiwyg is the way to go. I've tried a few things but nothing seems to really cut it so far.

    Any suggestions would great.

    cheers,
    rob
