  • like spring reference doc

    Hello,

I would like to make my doc have the same look and feel as the "spring ref doc" one (html and pdf).

    http://www.springframework.org/docs/...nce/index.html
    http://www.springframework.org/docs/...-reference.pdf

which is the step-by-step path ?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Josť.

I suggest you check out the CVS codebase. Everything you need is in there. In docs/reference you'll find a small readme that explains things a bit. It's all based on DocBook, DocBook XSL (an xsl stylesheet transforming docbook to html and pdf).

      Thanks for the hint.
I gave a look to that readme.txt file and it's written there the following:
Thanks to Hibernate, for providing the skeleton for
      DocBook documentation!
Is that means I should start from a given skeleton for my doc as well ?

What are using to edit and modify the current spring ref doc ?
Let say you want to add a new section (5.3.2.6 for instance). I can't image you adding it manually .
      Elaborate please ...

      Thanks,

      Josť.

Personally I use XMLMind XML Editor. I think most of the others use this also.

          Thanks Rod for the hint.

I have just downloaded the Standard Edition and will start playing with it soon.
