  • GrailsMelody plugin shows garbage screen

I installed the grailsmelody plugin and when I run this on my local machine everything works fine:

    http://localhost:8080/xxx/monitoring

    displays the graphs as expected.

When I deploy it as a WAR to our Linux server under Tomcat, the URL:

    http://<server>:8080/xxx/monitoring

returns a screen containing garbage characters like this:

    }ks8

I have turned on debugging in net.bull.javamelody and it does not show anything interesting.

    Any ideas.

    Thank you in advance.

I've tried run-war with grails.org and the /monitoring page is displaying fine. I would check the HTTP request and response to see whether there are any strange encodings declared.

      UIPerformance Plugin Conflict

Turns out to be a conflict with the UIPerformance plugin.

We are trying to configure an exclusion, but not having much success. We have tried:
      **/monitoring/**
      monitoring/**
      and many more.

      Anyone have any ideas?

        Problem fixed

Latest grails-melody 0.8 fixes the conflict with the UI performance plugin. Thanks to Emeric turning out a new version so quickly.
