  • How do you change the Grails environment that vFabric starts in?

vFabric automatically runs my Grails application in the production environment. How do I change this to a different environment, like the test environment for example?

Given that I can't seem to find any information on this I'm guessing that it's not possible. I'll just have to use the built-in Tomcat container and a grails command if I want to use a different environment. For example, the run-app command runs the application in the development environment.

I know that this is a little old but I stumbled across it and someone else might be looking for the answer too: try looking at the Project Properties -> Grails -> Run On Server, the property page there has the selection for which environment the project will run in.
