  • Spring and scalability

    Hi All!

    I am spending a few trying to understand how migrate an ejb based app to a spring based one.
    Suppose I have an EJB for business logic: the first step is to rewrite it as a POJO managed by Spring.
    Yes, it's wonderful.
    Suppose my EJB is the infamous ConverterBean; the equivalent POJO is:
    Code:
    public class ConverterBean {
    ..
    public BigDecimal dollarsToYen( BigDecimal dollars ){
    ..
    }

    }

    Now the question is: how to scale it up?

    I wish to obtain an architecture where on one server I have the presentation layer and on the other(s) the business layer.
    Please help me.

    Thanks in advance

    Now you have to choose one of several remoting techniques spring supports http://static.springsource.org/sprin.../remoting.html

      is that all?

      I am looking for some examples ...

      I found this book:
      "The Definitive Guide to GigaSpaces: Scaling Spring for the Enterprise"

      Does anyone know it?
      What do I need to scale Spring?
