  • How would you do this?

I need two methods in AbstractWizardFormController:

A new validatePage() method that gives me the request:
    Code:
validatePage(HttpServletRequest request, Object command, Errors errors, int page)
And a method called after successfull validation:
    Code:
afterValidate(HttpServletRequest request, Object command, int page)
Right now I've done that by creating another abstract class that inherits from AbstractWizardFormController and overrides onBindAndValidate, calling my new validatePage() and then afterValidate() methods. This means, however, that my new validatePage() method is not called during the final validation. I can live with this, but I was just wondering is there is a "best practice" way to solve my problem.

Oh, I need the request because some submissions for a page are not actually sending any information that needs to be validated (ie, change the page in a record set). Thanks for the help!

      This isn't a bug, it's a general design issue.
