  • Problem using tokenize function with Xalan

    Hi
    Please look at the following pice of code:-
    <xsl:variable name="dirs" select="xalan:tokenize("a,b,c,d",',')"/>
    <xsl:for-each select="$dirs">
    .....
    .......

    </xsl :for-each>

    Basically , by using the above piece of code a,b,c,d should get picked up one by one and the loop should run 4 times

    This works fine when I use JAVA 1.4 , for which the property "javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory" is set as "org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl "

    But to work with java 1.5 i have to set the same property as "com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xsltc.trax.Tran sformerFactoryImpl"

    Howver by doing this , the tokenize function in the above piece of code no longer works correctly , and it picks up abcd as one instead of picking them up seperately and the loop also runs once , Can any one point out how can i make this work , i read somewhere that if the xalan proceesor is changed then some of the functions available earlier are no longer available ,what can be the remedy to this
