  • Source bundles in dm Server

    Hi

I think the way dm Server Tools recognise source bundles should be little bit improved.

At the moment, the only way to associate source bundle with the bundle containing compiled classes is to follow file naming convention. If main bundle is called xyz-1.0.0.jar, source bundle must be called xyz-sources-1.0.0.jar. In that case, dm Server Tools show main bundle annotated with the source icon in Repository view.

Firstly, the naming convention goes against the maven naming convention, where sources jar would be called xyz-1.0.0-sources.jar.

But more importantly, when a source bundle contains OSGi manifest with Eclipse-SourceBundle entry, this is recognised and displayed as a separate bundle in Repository view.

I think dm Server Tools should be more clever when mapping and presenting these bundles.

    Thanks.
