  • How to Disable Tomcat -Subsystem in Dm 2.0.M5 ?

    I used to disable tomcat in Dm version 1.0.2 by commenting the subsytem in profile.config as follows

    /*
    * SpringSource dm Server profile manager default configuration file.
    */
    {
    "profile": {
    "version" : 1.0,
    "name" : "web",
    "subsystems" : [ /* "com.springsource.server.servlet", "com.springsource.server.web" */],
    "optionalSubsystems" : ["com.springsource.server.management"]
    }
    }

    How do i do the same in Dm 2.0 M5. I dont see any default subsytems configured as mentioned in teh user guide in Dm2.0.M5

    Dm 2.0M5 -Document snippet below--

    You can configure three properties of the SpringSource dm Serverís profile: the profileís name,
    the list of required subsystems, and the list of optional subsystems.
    To change any of these properties, edit the SERVER_HOME/config/kernel.properties
    file and change the properties that begin with the profile. prefix.

    I dont see any such options mentioned in kernel.properties ?

    Unfortunately we haven't had a chance to update the documentation for M5 so it's a little out of step with the runtime.

    You can disable Tomcat, i.e. the web support, by removing the reference to the web plan in the deployer.systemArtifacts property defined in the com.springsource.kernel.properties file.
