  • [Ajax XT] ButtonType.SUBMIT only displays correctly in FireFox

    I am attempting to build a submit Button via Ajax XT. Everything works correctly in FireFox but when tested in Internet Explorer the button is displayed, however there is no text in it (the button doesn’t have the “Next Screen” text).

    Code:
    Code:
    Button nextButton = new Button("_eventId_next", "1", Button.ButtonType.SUBMIT, new SimpleText("Next Screen"));
    ReplaceContentAction nextButtonContent = new ReplaceContentAction("nextButton", nextButton);
    response.addAction(nextButtonContent);
    jsp:
    Code:
    <span id="nextButton"></span>
    Generated Code:
    Code:
    <ajax-response xml:space="preserve">
    <replace-children><context><matcher matchMode="plain" contextNodeID="nextButton"/></context><content><button value="1" type="SUBMIT" name="_eventId_next">Next Screen</button></content></replace-children>
    </ajax-response>
    In FireFox when the button is rendered on the screen the button is labeled: “Next Screen”, however in I.E. the button is labeled: “”

    Thanks in advance for your help,

    Keith
