Spring Modules forum decommissioned in favor of Spring Extensions

As the Spring Modules project has been replaced by the Spring Extensions (http://www.springsource.org/extensions) project, this forum has been decommissioned in favour of Spring Extensions one at:
http://forum.springsource.org/forumdisplay.php?f=44

Please see the Spring Extensions home page for a complete list of current projects in Java, .NET and ActionScript. You can also propose one if you want.

Cheers,

  • Documentation for Integration with Commons Configuration

I recently Integrated commons configuration into my application but It took me a few weeks on and off to workout what i needed. Partly because i was not familiar with the spring modules project and how they fitted in, Partly because the external documentaion i found did not give enough detail and led me in the wrong direction* and partly because there was not any documentation that i could find here.

I thought it would be good to include some documentation some where that gave a fairly detailed description including information like what jars are requried how they can interact with each other and an example configuration. Is there somewhere appropriate to put this?

I've put something like this in the thread that i originally asked about it but is the a twiki i could put it in? I had a look there but could not find anything when i looked?
