Spring Modules forum decommissioned in favor of Spring Extensions

As the Spring Modules project has been replaced by the Spring Extensions (http://www.springsource.org/extensions) project, this forum has been decommissioned in favour of Spring Extensions one at:
http://forum.springsource.org/forumdisplay.php?f=44

Please see the Spring Extensions home page for a complete list of current projects in Java, .NET and ActionScript. You can also propose one if you want.

Cheers,

  • ehCache Flushing Configuration

    Hi,

I am working on a project that is trying to implement ehCache using annotation. I have been doing some reading up and there seems to be very little information out there. I have the following questions.

    * Are @Cachable and @CacheFlush the only options when using annotations?
    * Does ehCache clear the full cache or just the element being updated when @CacheFlush is used? The documentation I have read says that its down to the provider, ie ehCache, but it doesn't say what ehCache does.
    * How can I flush or invalidate a single element in the cache?
    * Is there any good documentation out there that can help?

    Thank you
    John
